Emma’s Colonic Blog 2!
A week has just flown by since my first ever blog! Thank you so much for all your reactions and comments about it, i’m reassured that I don’t just waffle all the time. I promised to be back with you to discuss the benefits of colon hydrotherapy, and although here I am keeping my promise I can’t discuss ALL the benefits of colonics with you in just one blog – it would be too long! So, in true tv drama style I will make this a two parter – only there is no seeing the second part early on demand, you will have to tune in next week…… mainly because i have just got my head around blogs and no idea where to start with an advanced showing of one!
The Benefits, Part One.
I’d like to start by saying that although colon hydrotherapy does have many benefits, none are like a magic wand that can create an over night change. This is why I take a holistic approach to colonics and talk about gradual changes encompassing diet, fluid intake, exercise and your lifestyle to name a few. No, one colonic is not going to cure the constipation you have had for seven years, but it is a good start – well done for making that choice.
Detox – it is January and detoxing is a subject many clients ask about at this time of year. Yes a colonic can help with the detox process as it cleanses impurities, releases toxins and allows your body to absorb important nutrients, and an additional bonus is that it can also give your immune system a boost.
Increase energy levels – this is often reported by clients who receive regular colonics because your bowel is no longer trying to force old waste through it, therefore a reduction in headaches, improved sleep and better moods are a much needed benefit. I myself find this is the greatest benefit I get from having a colonic, I can tell I am approaching the date of my next one as I start to struggle with my memory and become easily tired.
Relief from bloating, wind and/or bad breath – through our busy lifestyles gas can become trapped in our gut and can cause unwanted side effects. Colon hydrotherapy can help to reach these trapped pockets and help to improve your symptoms, the advice given to you about mindful eating during your appointment will also help.
Starting to realise the overall health benefits of colon hydrotherapy is one of the first steps many people take when researching how to help a health condition they have, but prevention is better than the cure. I look forward to catching up with you next week with some more benefits of colon hydrotherapy.
