Does it hurt?
Colon hydrotherapy does not hurt. It is comfortable, therapeutic and a relaxing experience. The biggest concern from new clients is usually the thought of the tube being inserted, but please let me reassure you that this is not painful and your dignity is maintained at all times. The tube is small and fully lubricated and is only placed within the first part of the rectum. Many people will have passed much bigger motions on the toilet than the size of the tube and don’t realise the tube is in place before being asked to lay on their back ready for the treatment

How clean is colon hydrotherapy?
Colon hydrotherapy is very clean; the whole treatment area, colonic machine and toilet facilities are disinfected following each client. The tubing and speculum used are all single use and is disposed after each client, however we try to do our bit for the environment by regularly planting wildflower seeds.

This is entirely recommended on an individual basis, however it is likely you may need two to the pre treatments in close succession to achieve the best results. Your therapist will discuss this with you during your appointment. We may also recommend additions to further enhance your treatment such as herbal infusion, coffee enema or a probiotic implant.![]()
Will I lose weight from Colon Hydrotherapy?
This is a really popular question asked by many clients; it has been said that people may have a slight decrease in their weight when they’ve had a colonic. During a colon hydrotherapy treatment you lose waste, not fat. Colon Hydrotherapy is part of an approach to a healthy lifestyle and is not a weight loss tool when used in isolation.
